Not one to be too overly modest, Misa does just as asked and does make herself comfortable, plopping herself down on a plush seat nearby Yima. They're friends and allies working towards the same goal, so why shouldn't she act friendly? Actually, she's in a great mood, too, urged on by the pleased note that had rung in Yima's message. ]

[ It's unmistakable, the surprise on her features, when she sees the black notebook being offered to her. Sure, she'd asked for it — but that, too, had been a small test conducted for herself. How much did Yima really know about the Death Note? About Misa's past? If she could conjure this book from her vague request, then it would tell her a lot about who Yima is as a person, or at least, that's what she figured. Even still, she hadn't been sure it would've been possible to get it back... while she doesn't speak it into words immediately, gratitude is practically radiating off of her. ]
My Death Note...!
[ She murmurs, soft and almost disbelieving. Nothing can describe the pure, vibrant sense of relief she feels about closing her fingers around the book again at last. Reunited with the very best tool and symbol of her devotion to Light's cause, and by extension, Yima's. For the longest time, she's thought she might not ever see it again, and may even one day lose her memory of it... her lips tighten a bit, a wave of sentimentality crashing over her - and she takes the notebook and hugs it to her chest affectionately, as if trying to press it to her very heart. ]
So Yima knew all along...? About everything?
[ The killing, the secrets, her past. Her voice sounds — hopeful, as though she doesn't view Yima knowing about all this as suspicious or something to be worried about in the least. If anything... she'll feel seen, understood. ]
[ The Matron's smile is steady, affectionate in response to Misa's reunion with a much-beloved symbol and tool of her personal cause. Her justice. ]

[ Yima's dark eyes fall to the book clutched to the Zenite's chest as if it were a precious piece of her soul; maybe, in some ways, Misa would see it that way. An extension of herself. ]

From her conversation with Liem, she gets the sense he'd seen something he shouldn't have, and it's always better to snip off a loose end before it causes more trouble, she's found. There's a twinkle in her eye at her offer though - clearly proud to be able to provide such a service in the future. Just like old times - not that she knows that it won't be so simple this time around. It's the thought that counts, she's just happy to kill for mommy, ]
[ The matter of the book's effectiveness is a subject they will need to address, but for now, Yima seems content to focus on Misa's happiness to have been reunited with it.

There's plenty brewing there in her eyes: admiration, curiosity, and most of all, conviction. The conviction that's always at a simmer beneath all of the airy, bubbly surface. ]
