Plus, if they look too hard they might come across someone who saw what happened to us and end up blaming me for everything! People will do anything to get out of trouble
Its true that Misa is cute and small so people will usually think Misa is innocent, But come on, JJ!! They stood by and did nothing while we almost died (which BTW makes them accomplices) So they're not going to tell the truth to the police if they think they might get in trouble for it!! Duh
that's why it's important that the city officials are cracking down! so that people aren't scared of men like that anymore i know some people were too scared to do anything but i don't think they're so bad that they'd lie to the police in private
But it's not like the city officials are innocent either... If it really does end up helping things, Misa will believe it when she sees it! Until then, I'm not going to be shocked if anyone tries to throw me under the bus for stabbing that guy You'd be surprised what people are willing to do (`A´)
some of them are crooked but some of them aren't that bad they're trying to help anyway what else are they going to do? give up and descend into chaos? misa the riots were hard enough on me emotionally i don't want to live in a post-apocalyptic society

Which is exactly why I think if they actually feel bad they should arrest the crooked ones and try to do their jobs properly for once ...Well, not that getting arrested automatically means they'll be punished like they deserve
there's definitely some bad eggs but i think they are trying to make amends i mean people even broke into the palace! i think that means they're going to be harsh on them that's like... treason isn't it? it feels so crazy i wish you could visit again but i don't know if that'll ever be possible
