[ idk why JJ didn't just give this to her in person. He definitely would've wanted to see her reaction!! But let's just say... they couldn't meet up. Or maybe he tried to get to her house and got lost or she wasn't there. Regardless, she's going to receive a generously wrapped parcel.
What could be inside the parcel!! There are two things: first, underneath the smaller piece is some neatly folded fabric, which when unfurled will reveal a design startlingly similar to the one that Misa first sketched out while her and JJ were discussing skating costumes. It's obviously unfinished however, but it bears the request lace pattern, though there is also a bit of a sequin detailing.
The second item, much smaller, is set on top of the costume. A cross necklace—JJ's own in fact, since Christianity nor its ensuing imagery where a thing on El Nysa.
Finally, there's also a note, filling to the brim with rambling dialogue typical of JJ: ]
Happy Birthday Misa!!
Did you know it's Christmas here? I don't think they have a real Christmas (Since there's no Jesus! Or is there??), but I guess the "winter holidays" are close enough. There were people dressed as Santa at the party and it was kind of weird, but also nice to be reminded of home.
You said your birthday was on Christmas, and I don't know if it's December now (I guess it is somewhere?!?!), but I think now is a good time to celebrate. It must be difficult without your family and Light, but I'll try my best to make it special for you. We are all in this together!!
The costume isn't finished yet, but it can't be without your measurements. But I still wanted you to see! And the necklace is because... You saved both our lives back then, probably. It's not the same as the one you lost, but I hope it can still be something that makes you happy.
So happy birthday!! I'm excited for everything that lies ahead for us. :) See you soon for skating lessons!
Regards, King JJ
