[ She doesn't know if she has the heart to tell these people that their clothes are ugly, but they're just so...not her style. Regular Earth clothes were fine and good - not everyone can pull off every style, and she'd been happy with her personal look. But everything here seems so dull in comparison... ]
I thought maybe they might have some clothes of mine on the - [ She almost mentions the ship, but shakes her head, not wanting to break the rule she'd just been told about. ] You know, where we came from! I didn't check... and won't it be kind of gross to wear the same thing each day...
Yeaaaaaaaaaah... making the trip there is a little much, but it's honestly better than wearing most of the clothes here. I mean, some of them are cute but not all of it, plus it seems like they only saved one outfit out of my entire wardrobe.
[ And she breathes out a sigh. ]
I don't know if it'll be the same for you, but it's probably better than nothing to check later.
[ And hey! They're finally at the diner she had mentioned earlier, to which Leanne escorts them both to a nearby booth that's distant from any possibly prying ears. Seating herself across from Misa and being greated by their waiter who hands them both a glass of water. ]
There's still plenty I'm learning about both this place and the ship, though, it seems like I'm learning something new everyday.
[ That's..sad... what's the point in that. Anyway, her disappointment with her clothing predicament is put on hold for a moment so she can slide into the booth across from Leanne. Her delicate hands reach for the menu, reading it over as she speaks. ]

I know how you feel. [ And it wasn't that long that whole light made a one-eighty—or perhaps it's better to describe it as just starting. From a life controlled from dusk to dawn to being free to do as she pleases, it didn't make the sudden change of coming here any easier. ]
But there's a lot of opportunities to for jobs and getting money, and they flat out give us free apartments. You're probably going to have to clean it up again but it's better than having to sleep on the ground.
[ Which was terrible. ]
It's been... two months? Three, soon enough.
[ She gives the menu a quick look through before she makes her decision, humming lightly. ]
We woke up on the station, like you guys did, and it took a little while for us to get from... wherever we were in space to here. And then getting down here was a real treat.
I sure hope so... But I don't know if I can do any of the jobs here.
[ Misa has plenty of marketable skills in her particular field, but technical skills? She doesn't have that many. Her eyes stay fixed on the menu as Leanne details the past refugees' tale, but she isn't reading anything in particular - she's just trying to think hard if any of this has relevance to something she might have to tell Light. ]
Did something go wrong? [ Her tone suggests so, and her eyebrows knit together on an instinct to show concern. It's genuine, at least. ] It was probably really confusing getting here and having no one to tell you what to do.
