[ Working with Lottie is a refreshing experience for Misa — in most of her other team-ups with her fellow Zenites, her focus is of course being helpful... but most of the time, she ends up trying to get the other party to do the, how you say, heavy lifting parts. Not because she's lazy or anything like that, but more because she's found many people step up to do the heavy lifting with her around anyways, perhaps in part due to her airheaded persona, or her lack of personal history with all the drama that comes with supernatural fighting.
With Lottie, though, it's fun to be on equal footing. She expects the same out of Lottie as she expects from herself — it's a little freeing to work together with a girl friend, the way she would when she would "enlist" (secretly or otherwise) the help of her pals around Tokyo for her Kira work. And besides, she's always happy to work with a fellow Zenite for the cause. She ought to ask Lottie later about her new world and the shard in her possession...
