It would be a challenge for her to come to terms with the concept of dying slowly, and needing to feed off of other living beings, especially in an admittedly monstrous and grotesque way. Coming to terms with her transformation would be a long and difficult process, one that she would react to at first with non-chalant "I'm sure it can't be permanent"'s, before developing into a great disillusionment with her circumstances - which she would have a very hard time accepting.
She values her beauty and her life (so long as it's useful to Light), and dying slowly and losing her fresh, lively look would shake her.
